Embark on a journey of underwater discovery with the NAUI Confined Water Freediver program, a specialized experience designed to introduce you to the art of breath-hold diving in controlled environments. Dive into the essentials through focused E-learning, gaining knowledge on safety measures and fundamental freediving techniques. Transition to the pool, where expert instructors will guide you through breath-holding technique and crucial safety. We will cover hydrodynamic swimming technique for dynamic apnea. This program provides a unique opportunity to build freediving fundamental knowledge required to participate in breath-hold activities. **Includes** - NAUI E-learning - Two 3-Hour Pool Training Sessions (Freediving 101 & 102) - FREE 1-Month Access to Additional Training at SuperDive - DAN Student Medical Coverage - Digital Certification Card Processing* **Requirements to Enroll** - 8+ years old - Basic swim ability (10 minute tread or float, 200m swim) - Signed waivers and completed DAN Diver Medical Questionnaire (depending on answers, some people may require doctor's clearance before participating - Appropriate equipment for freediving: Mask, snorkel, fins, weight belt. Supply your own or use ours for a small fee. We reserve the right to deny use of personal equipment we deem inappropriate for safe training. * Certification card is awarded only upon course completion AND verification of skill mastery. This recognizes your ability to freedive with a qualified buddy in confined water environments. The card does not expire but refreshers are recommended after periods of inactivity. Physical certification card available at extra $25 fee.
